A UNIQUE WAY TO TELL THE TIME

The Lesablier Temporis Sauterelle is a jump-hour timepiece. The hour can be read from the window at the 12-o'clock position, while the minutes are displayed using an traditional minutes hand.

The concept of the jump hour wristwatch is over 100 years old, yet it is not something that is seen often. It is a complication that has taken form in many different styles throughout the years.

The Temporis Sauterelle is complicated in its simplicity. Above the complex Cal LJ1 movement sits either a natural stone dial or a smoked sapphire crystal plate.

The simplicity of the layout on the Temporis Sauterelle allows us to treat the dial like a blank canvas, either showcasing the beauty of natural stones or the mechanics behind its movement (depending on the variation).

DISTINCTIVE DIAL OPTIONS

EVERY VARIATION TELLS A STORY

The Temporis Sauterelle is available in five distinct executions at launch.

The one that is different from the rest is the Openworked. It features a smoked sapphire-crystal dial showcasing the Caliber LJ1 movement that powers this timepiece, allowing the wearer to observe the hour jumping in real time.

The four other variations each feature a different stone or glass dial. From dark-blue aventurine glass to natural malachite, there is a Temporis Sauterelle that fits every taste and preference.

The hour windows are (for most variations) color-matched to the stone and feature lume on the text, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions.

Each variation will be available with an Arabic-language hour disk upon request.

CUSTOMIZED MOVEMENT

A UNIQUE APPLICATION OF A PRACTICAL ENGINE

With Temporis Sauterelle, we wanted to build something with a special, purpose-built movement and at the same time make sure it is as robust as any other Lesablier timepiece.

Enter Caliber LJ1, or Lesablier Jump 1. This movement is - at its core- a customized jump-hour module that fits atop a Miyota 9-series movement.

The Miyota base allows us to build a movement that is uncompromised in its reliability, accuracy, and serviceability. As an added bonus, the thin profile of the 9 series allowed us to keep this watch thin enough to fit under a cuff.

BUILT IN THE D.C. AREA

HAND-ASSEMBLED MINUTES FROM THE NATION'S CAPITOL

The Temporis Sauterelle will proudly be assembled in the greater Washington D.C. area, where each timepiece will undergo meticulous final assembly, quality control, regulation, and pressure testing to ensure it meets our rigorous quality standards.

While we work with various global partners on the parts (such as Miyota in Japan for the base movements), the Temporis Sauterelle will truly come to life here in the DC Area.

Each watch comes with a one-year warranty, providing further assurance of its quality and durability. The Temporis Sauterelle is meant to be worn and used, as such any problems with the movement will be covered within the warranty period.
